Admission Requirements
Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts
All massage program applicants must submit a formal application packet by the applicable due date, successfully pass an entrance interview, pass a physical obtained from a licensed physician, be at least 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma or the equivalent, and pass a Washington State criminal background check. Applicants are evaluated without discrimination on the basis of age, sex, race, ethnic origin, religion, creed, sexual preference or disability.
Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts requests that all applicants identify any physical and / or learning needs during the admissions process. All massage program applicants will be assessed on an individual basis and Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts will make a reasonable attempt to accommodate the needs of all students. However, Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts reserves the right to deny a student admission if the student is unable to meet the demands of our program or the massage profession.
*Please note: Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts will not enroll any persons convicted of any crime of a sexual nature. Including but not limited to; rape, molestation, sexual assault, prostitution, and voyeurism.
