Orthopedic Techniques for Cervical Spine Dysfunction

Learn how to treat a variety of cervical spine conditions such as: headaches, trauma related injuries, and chronic postural issues. The Art of Deep Tissue

In this course students will gain the tools necessary to relieve pain and discomfort utilizing advanced deep tissue techniques and applied muscle release. Students will learn to effectively treat the causes and symptoms associated with a large array of musculoskeletal dysfunctions and imbalances. This course is packed-full of quality techniques and usable information, giving students the confidence and tools necessary to give their patients a longer lasting effect.

The Subtle Body

Using all your senses, including intuition, you will learn ways to listen deeply to the energies, tissues, structures, and emotions of the body. The intent of subtle bodywork is not to manipulate or control the bodywork process, but to allow these subtle cues to guide you as the practitioner. With open minds and hearts, you will learn to observe, listen, touch, feel, and intuit subtle body messages from your client. This course is for anyone interested in a process-oriented, client-centered approach to bodywork.

Introduction to Ayurvedic Massage

Ayurvedic massage, or Abhyanga, originated in India and is a rhythmic massage with one or two therapists. Fluid movements are used to massage warm herbal oils into the body. Abhyanga massage cleanses the deep tissues, opens the subtle channels and increases vitality and longevity of the body. Students will gain practical Ayurvedic skills to provide individualized care for specific client needs.
