About Monarch:
Monarch Massage & Spa is Gig Harbor’s premier nurture by nature concept spa, and massages are our specialty! From warm neck wraps when you walk in, to foot baths, herbal teas, our own line of locally hand crafted aromatherapy, robes and slippers for individuals receiving multiple services, customized massages, body scrubs, steamed towels, and infrared saunas.
Hours available:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 2pm-7pm
1-2 Saturday’s per month 12pm-6pm
Job Description:
We are looking to add a part time massage therapist to our team. Our perfect candidate will have a current WA State Massage License, and Professional Liability Insurance. No previous spa experience is required but you must be willing to learn. A perfect fit is someone who has excellent self management skills, is responsible, personable, caring, tidy, and takes pride in attention to detail. Being a great team player is a must.
Responsibilities:
LMT’s sanitize their room between every client. Some laundry and light cleaning is required as keeping the spa clean and enjoyable for all is very important to us. You will enter basic SOAP notes into our scheduling system.
Benefits:
Hourly hands on rates of $32 to $40 per massage hour based on experience, re-booking rate, and menu services provided. Additional base pay for administrative hours (set up, clean up, etc.).
Gratuities are an additional large part of your income in the spa. An average 20% or more is an additional $23 per massage hour added to your base pay.
