Seeking Massage Therapist – New Graduates Encouraged to Apply

We are seeking a Massage Therapist to join our Family-owned Chiropractic Clinic. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient’s individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.

We are open to the discussion of option to be either a W2 employee or 1099 independent contractor.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

– Perform a variety of techniques such as deep tissue massage, Swedish, myofascial, cupping, scraping, and stretching.
– Educate clients on self-care and the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care techniques.
– Maintain accurate records of each session.
– Conduct initial assessments to evaluate patients’ health history and specific needs.
– Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals
– Adhere to all sanitation and hygiene standards in accordance with regulatory guidelines and ensuring the massage therapy room is clean, organized and welcoming for patients.
– Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.
– Communicate effectively with patients to understand their concerns and preferences.
– Collaborate with chiropractors and other team members to coordinate and enhance patient care.
– Valid state license or certification as a Massage Therapist.
– Experience preferred with Deep Tissue, pre and postnatal massage, cupping. Training available.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
– High level of ethics and integrity.
– Stay informed about advancements in massage therapy techniques and related healthcare practices.
– Previous experience in a physical medicine setting is a plus but not required.
